ينشأ الاتحاد العام لمنتجى الدواجن، وتكون له الشخصية الاعتبارية، ويكون أعضاؤه من المشتغلين بإنتاج الدواجن من الأشخاص الطبيعيين والاعتباريين فى القطاع الخاص والتعاونى وقطاع الأعمال العام.
وتحدد اللائحة التنفيذية أنواع وشروط عضوية الاتحاد وأوجه نشاط الإنتاج، وسجلات قيدها.
