تنشأ هيئة عامة، تسمى الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد،
تتمتع بالاستقلالية، وتكون لها الشخصية الاعتبارية العامة، تتبع رئيس مجلس الوزراء،
ويكون مقرها مدينة القاهرة، وللهيئة أن تنشئ فروعا لها في المحافظات.
