Article 260 of the Maritime Trade Law

يقع باطلا كل اتفاق يتم قبل وقوع الحادث الذي
نشأ عنه الضرر ويكون موضوعه أحد الأمور الآتية:
(أ) إعفاء الناقل من المسئولية قبل المسافر أو ورثته أو من
يعولهم.
(ب) تعديل عبء الإثبات الذي يضعه القانون على عاتقه.
(ج) تحديد التعويض بأقل مما هو مقرر في المادة ٢٥٨ من هذا
القانون.
(د) النزول للناقل عن الحقوق الناشئة عن التأمين على شخص
المسافر.
