يقوم النقيب بتمثيل النقابة لدى الجهات القضائية والإدارية ويرأس الجمعية العمومية ومجلس النقابة . وفى حالة غيابه يحل محله الوكيل الذى يختاره المجلس ، فإذا غاب الوكيلان كانت الرئاسة لأكبر أعضاء المجلس الحاضرين سنا .
