تنشأ نقابة تسمى نقابة المهندسين وتكون لها الشخصية الاعتبارية وتعتبر الهيئة الممثلة للمهندسين المتمتعين بجنسية جمهورية مصر العربية وتعتبر هيئة استشارية للدولة والاتحاد الاشتراكى العربى فى مجال تخصصها ويكون مقرها الرئيسى بالقاهرة ، ولها فروع بالمحافظات طبقا لأحكام هذا القانون .
