Article 242 bis (a) of the Penal Code

يعاقب بالسجن كل من طلب ختان أنثى وتم ختانها بناء على طلبه على النحو المنصوص عليه بالمادة (٢٤٢) مكررا من هذا القانون .
كما يعاقب بالحبس كل من روج ، أو شجع ، أو دعا بإحدى الطرق المبينة بالمادة (١٧١) من هذا القانون لارتكاب جريمة ختان أنثى ولو لم يترتب على فعله أثر .

يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تقل عن سنة ولا تجاوز ثلاث سنوات كل من طلب ختان أنثى وتم ختانها بناء على طلبه على النحو المنصوص عليه بالمادة (٢٤٢) مكررا من هذا القانون .
