كل من تسبب بغير عمد في حصول حادث لإحدى وسائل النقل العامة البرية أو المائية أو الجوية من شأنه تعريض الأشخاص الذين بها للخطر يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تتجاوز ستة شهور أو بغرامة لا تتجاوز عشرين جنيها مصريا . أما إذا نشأ عنه موت شخص أو إصابات بدنية فتكون العقوبة الحبس .
