لوزير الزراعة طبقا للسياسة العامة التى تقررها الدولة، وبالتنسيق مع وزير الموارد المائية والرى أن يحدد بقرار منه مناطق لزراعة محاصيل معينة دون غيرها من الحاصلات الزراعية، وله أن يستثنى من ذلك مزارع الوزارة أو الحقول الأخرى التى تستعمل للتجارب والإكثارات الأولى للمحاصيل.
