لا يجوز نقل أى عضو أو جزء من عضو أو نسيج من جسم إنسان حى بقصد زرعه فى جسم إنسان آخر إلا لضرورة تقتضيها المحافظة على حياة المتلقى أو علاجه من مرض جسيم، وبشرط أن يكون النقل هو الوسيلة الوحيدة لمواجهة هذه الضرورة وألا يكون من شأن النقل تعريض المتبرع لخطر جسيم على حياته أو صحته.
ويحظر زرع الأعضاء أو أجزائها أو الأنسجة أو الخلايا التناسلية بما يؤدى إلى اختلاط الأنساب.
