Article 94 of the Universities Organisation Law

مع عدم الإخلال بأحكام القانون رقم 112 لسنة 1963 فى شأن الأمراض المزمنة، تكون لعضوية هيئة التدريس كل ثلاث سنوات تقضى فى الخدمة إجازة مرضية بمرتب كامل لمدة أقصاها سنة.
وإذا لم يستطع عضو هيئة التدريس عند انقضاء السنة العودة إلى عمله، جاز لرئيس الجامعة أن يرخص فى امتداد الأجازة لمدة أخرى لا تجاوز سنة على أن تكون بثلاثة أرباع المرتب.
وتكفل الدولة على نفقتها علاج أعضاء هيئة التدريس الذين يصابون بالمرض بسبب العمل وفقا لم تبينه اللائحة التنفيذية.
