يدعو رئيس مجلس القسم المؤتمر العلمى للقسم إلى الاجتماعى مرتين على الأقل خلال العام الجامعى، ويحرر عن الاجتماع محضر يعرض مع توصيات المؤتمر على مجلس القسم ومجلس الكلية أو المعهد.
