مع مراعاة حكم المادة السابقة، يكون تعيين المعيد بعقد لمدة سنة قابلة للتجديد، ما لم يكن شاغلا من قبل وظيفة فى الحكومة أو الهيئات أو المؤسسات العامة ووحدات القطاع العام فيحتفظ بمركزه القانونى الثابت له قبل تعيينه معيدا.
