Article 59 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law

لا يجوز توقيع أى من الجزاءات المنصوص عليها فى هذا القانون على عضو السلك إلا بعد التحقيق معه كتابة وسماع أقواله وتحقيق دفاعه .
ولوزير الخارجية أن يحيل عضو السلك إلى التحقيق عند مخالفته لواجباته أو مقتضيات وظيفته ، ويحدد الوزير بقرار منه من يقوم بمباشرة التحقيق ، وتعرض نتائجه على المجلس بالنسبة لمن يشغل وظيفة وزير مفوض فما فوقها ، ويرفع المجلس توصيته إلى الوزير إما بحفظ الموضوع أو بتوقيع جزاء التنبيه أو الإحالة لمجلس التأديب .
