يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز سنتين وبغرامة لا تزيد على مائتى جنيه أو باحدى هاتين العقوبتين كل من زوال مهنة الطب على وجه يخالف أحكام هذا القانون.
وفى حالة العود يحكم بالعقوبتين معا.
وفى جميع الأحوال يأمر القاضى بإغلاق العيادة مع نزع اللوحات واللافتات ومصادرة الأشياء المتعلقة بالمهنة ويأمر كذلك بنشر الحكم مرة أو أكثر من مرة فى جريدتين يعينهما على نفقة المحكوم عليه.
