Article 78 of the Prisons Organisation Law

يجب على مدير السجن أو مأموره إبلاغ النيابة العامة
والجهات المختصة فورا بوفاة أى مسجون يموت بغتة أو نتيجة حادث
أو مرضا يشتبه إصابة بالغة أو فراره ، وكل جناية تقع من المسجونين أو عليهم .
ويجب عليه أيضا إبلاغ النيابة حوادث الجنح التى ترتكب من
المسجونين أو عليهم إذا كانت خطيرة أو كانت ظروف المتهم من شأنها
أن تجعل الجزاء التأديبى غير كاف .
