يكون فى كل ليمان أو سجن غير مركزى طبيب أو أكثر أحدهم مقيم تناط به الأعمال الصحية وفقا لما تحدده اللائحة الداخلية .
ويكون للسجن المركزى طبيب فإذا لم يعين له طبيب كلف أحد الأطباء الحكوميين أداء الأعمال المنوطة بطبيب السجن .
