لا يجوز للقاضى أن يوجه إلى المدعى اليمين المتممة لتحديد قيمة المدعى به إلا إذا استحال تحديد هذه القيمة بطريقة أخرى .
ويحدد القاضى حتى فى هذه الحالة حدا أقصى للقيمة التى يصدق فيها المدعى بيمينه .
