Article 23 bis of the Personal Status Decree-Law 25 of 1929

يعاقب المطلق بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز ستة أشهر وبغرامة لا تجاوز مائتى جنيه أو بإحدى
هاتين العقوبتين إذا خالف أيا من الأحكام المنصوص عليها فى المادة (٥ مكررا) من هذا
القانون .
كما يعاقب الزوج بالعقوبة ذاتها إذا أدلى للموثق ببيانات غير صحيحة عن حالته الاجتماعية
أو محال إقامة زوجته أو زوجاته أو مطلقته على خلاف ماهو مقرر فى المادة (١١ مكررا) .
ويعاقب الموثق بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على شهر وبغرامة لا تجاوز خمسين جنيها إذا أخل
بأى من الالتزامات التى فرضها عليه القانون . ويجوز أيضا الحكم بعزله أو وقفه عن عمله
لمدة لا تجاوز سنة .
