فى تطبيق أحكام هذا القانون يقصد:
- "بالتاجر": كل شخص طبيعى أو اعتبارى يشتغل فى تجارة القطن.
- "باللجنة العامة": اللجنة العامة لتنظيم تجارة القطن فى الداخل.
- "بمكتب المحافظة": فروع اللجنة العامة لتنظيم تجارة القطن بالداخل فى المحافظات.
- "بالوزير المختص": وزير الاقتصاد والتجارة الخارجية.
- "بالوزارة المختصة": وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة الخارجية.
