يختص مكتب المحافظة بتنفيذ قرارات اللجنة العامة والإشراف على حسن سير الأعمال ومتابعة تنفيذ القوانين واللوائح الخاصة بالقطن فى المحافظة وله بوجه خاص:
( أ ) تقديم الاقتراحات الخاصة بنظام العمل والتعديلات التى يراها بشأنه إلى اللجنة العامة.
(ب) إصدار نشرات أسبوعية خاصة بأسعار القطن طبقا للبيانات التى تصدرها اللجنة العامة.
