يعمل بأحكام القانون المرافق فى شأن تنظيم أنشطة سوق الغاز، ولا تسرى أحكامه على اتفاقيات الامتياز البترولية الصادرة بموجب قانون، وذلك مع عدم الإخلال بأحكام القانون رقم ٢٠ لسنة ١٩٧٦ فى شأن الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول .
