يجوز لمأمور الضبط القضائي أن يضع الأختام على الأماكن التي بها آثار أو أشياء تفيد في كشف الحقيقة، وله أن يقيم حراسا عليها.
ويجب عليه إخطار النيابة فورا بذلك، وعلى النيابة العامة إذا رأت ما رأت ضرورة ذلك الإجراء أن ترفعه خلال أسبوع إلى القاضي الجزئي لإقراره أو إنهائه.
ولكل ذي شأن أن يتظلم للقاضي الجزئي من الأمر الذي أصدره بعريضة يقدمها إلى النيابة العامة، وعليها رفع التظلم إلى القاضي الجزئي خلال مدة لا تزيد على أسبوع.
