المحاماة مهنة حرة تشارك السلطة القضائية فى تحقيق العدالة وفى تأكيد سيادة القانون وفى كفالة حق الدفاع عن حقوق المواطنين وحرياتهم .
ويمارس مهنة المحاماة المحامون وحدهم فى استقلال ، ولا سلطان عليهم فى ذلك الا لضمائرهم وأحكام القانون .
