لهيئة البريد بناء على إذن من وكيل النائب العام المختص مصادرة الرسائل والطرود والتصرف فيها وفقا لما تقرره اللائحة التنفيذية فى الأحوال الآتية:
(١) إذا كانت محتوياتها مما يحظر القانون تداوله أو حيازته.
(٢) إذا لم تستوف شروط التخليص، أو استحقت عليها أية رسوم وامتنع صاحب الشأن عن تسلمها.
(٣) إذا لم تستوف الشروط والأوضاع المقررة قانونا.
(٤) إذا انقضت مدة حفظها المقررة باللائحة التنفيذية ولم يطلبها أصحابها أو لم يمكن الاستدلال عليها.
