Article 1 of the Upper Egypt Development Authority Law

تنشأ هيئة عامة خدمية تسمى ( هيئة تنمية الصعيد ) ، تتمتع بالشخصية الاعتبارية ،
وتتبع رئيس مجلس الوزراء ، ويكون مقرها الرئيسى مدينة القاهرة ، ويشار إليها
فى هذا القانون بالهيئة ، ويجوز أن تنشئ فروعا لها .
وتحدد اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون النطاق الجغرافى لعمل الهيئة والتدرج الزمنى
اللازم لذلك .
كما يحدد بقرار من رئيس مجلس الوزراء المناطق ذات الأولوية المستهدفة بالتنمية .
