يكون لهيئة الدواء المصرية مجلس إدارة برئاسة رئيس الهيئة يعين بدرجة وزير ، ويصدر بتشكيل مجلس الإدارة وتعديله وتحديد المعاملة المالية لرئيسه وأعضائه قرار من رئيس الجمهورية ، وتكون مدة العضوية فى مجلس الإدارة أربع سنوات قابلة للتجديد لمدة مماثلة .
