تتولى هيئة الدواء المصرية ، دون غيرها ، الاختصاصات المقررة لوزارة الصحة والسكان والهيئات العامة والمصالح الحكومية فيما يخص تنظيم تسجيل وتداول ورقابة المستحضرات الوارد تعريفها فى المادة (١) من هذا القانون ، والمواد الخام التى تدخل فى تصنيعها أينما وردت فى القوانين ذات الصلة واللوائح والقرارات التنظيمية ، وذلك بالإضافة إلى الاختصاصات المنصوص عليها فى هذا القانون .
