لمأمورى الضبط القضائى أن يضعوا الأختام على الأماكن التى بها آثار أو أشياء تفيد فى كشف الحقيقة ، ولهم أن يقيموا حراسا عليها .
ويجب عليهم إخطار النيابة العامة بذلك فى الحال ، وعلى النيابة إذا ما رأت ضرورة ذلك الإجراء أن ترفع الأمر إلى قاضى التحقيق لإقراره .
