Article 41 of the Water Resources and Irrigation Law

لا يترتب على الترخيص بإقامة آلة رفع أى حق فى مرور المياه فى أرض الغير ويكون المرخص له وحده مسئولا عن أى تصرف أو عمل يسبب ضررا للغير .
وإذا تحول النيل عن مجراه وتخلف عن ذلك جزيرة أو طرح نهر تجاه أرض مقام عليها آلة رافعة مرخص فى إقامتها يكون للمرخص له الحق فى حفر مسقاة فى الأرض الجديدة لإيصال المياه إلى تلك الآلة على نفقته وبعد الحصول على موافقة الجهة صاحبة الولاية دون أداء أى تعويض .
