كل من يبلغ عن واقعة ميلاد أو وفاة سبق الإبلاغ عنها من أحد المكلفين بالتبليغ وقيدها مع علمه بذلك يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تقل عن شهر ولا تجاوز ستة أشهر أو بغرامة لا تقل عن مائتي جنيه ولا تزيد على خمسمائة جنيه.
