لا يجوز أن يعين عضو مجلس الشيوخ في وظائف الحكومة أو شركات القطاع العام
أو شركات قطاع الأعمال العام أو الشركات المصرية أو الأجنبية أو المنظمات الدولية أثناء مدة
عضويته إلا إذا كان التعيين نتيجة ترقية، أو نقل من جهة إلى أخرى، أو كان بحكم قضائي،
أو بناء على قانون.
