دورة انعقاد المجلس أربع سنوات ، تبدأ من اليوم التالى لصدور قرار رئيس مجلس الوزراء الصادر بالتشكيل ، ويعاد تشكيله خلال الستين يوما الأخيرة على الأقل قبل انتهاء دورته .
وإذا خلا محل أحد الأعضاء خلال مدة الدورة لأى سبب من الأسباب ، تلتزم الجهة التى خلا محل ممثلها بترشيح ممثل آخر لها لاستكمال مدته .
