إذا كان الإخطار بالإنهاء من جانب صاحب العمل ، يحق للعامل أن يتغيب يوما كاملا فى الأسبوع أو ثمانى ساعات أثناء الأسبوع ، وذلك للبحث عن عمل آخر مع استحقاقه لأجره عن يوم أو ساعات الغياب .
ويكون للعامل تحديد يوم الغياب ، أو ساعاته ، بشرط أن يخطر صاحب العمل بذلك فى اليوم السابق للغياب على الأقل .
