تكون مدة الدراسة فى التعليم قبل الجامعى على النحو التالى:
تسع سنوات للتعليم الأساسى الإلزامى ويتكون من حلقتين (الحلقة الابتدائية) ومدتها ست سنوات و"الحلقة الإعدادية" ومدتها ثلاث سنوات.
ثلاث سنوات للتعليم الثانوى (العام والفنى).
خمس سنوات للتعليم الفنى المتقدم.
