يجب تطعيم الطفل بالطعم الواقى من مرض الجدرى خلال ثلاثة أشهر على الأكثر من يوم ولادته وذلك بمكاتب الصحة أو بالوحدات الصحية الأخرى أو بواسطة المندوب الصحى الذى تسند إليه السلطات الصحية المختصة هذا العمل .
