يجب على المستأجر أن يرد العين المؤجرة عند انتهاء الإيجار ، فإذا أبقاها تحت يده دون حق كان ملزما أن يدفع للمؤجر تعويضا يراعى في تقديره القيمة الإيجارية للعين وما أصاب المؤجر من ضرر .
