تنتهى حقوق الارتفاق بانقضاء الأجل المعين وبهلاك العقار المرتفق به أو العقار المرتفق هلاكا تاما أو باجتماع العقارين فى يد مالك واحد، إلا أنه اذا زالت حالة الاجتماع هذه زوالا يرجع أثره الى الماضى فان حق الارتفاق يعود .
