يقصد فى تطبيق أحكام هذا الكتاب بالمصطلحات الآتية المعانى المبينة قرين كل منها :
١ - إصابة العمل ، والأمراض المهنية ، والأمراض المزمنة التعاريف الواردة لها فى قانون التأمين الاجتماعى وقراراته التنفيذية .
٢ - المنشأة : كل مشروع أو مرفق يملكه أو يديره شخص من أشخاص القانون العام أو الخاص .
٣ - المنشأة فى تطبيق أحكام الباب الرابع من هذا الكتاب : كل مشروع أو مرفق يملكه أو يديره شخص من أشخاص القانون الخاص .
