يجب أن يكون اتفاق التدرج مكتوبا وتحدد فيه مدة تعلم المهنة أو الصنعة ومراحلها المتتابعة والمكافأة فى كل مرحلة بصورة تصاعدية ، على ألا تقل فى المرحلة الأخيرة عن الحد الأدنى للأجر المحدد لفئة العمال فى المهنة أو الصنعة التى يتدرج فيها .
