Article 8 of the Antiquities Protection Law

فيما عدا حالات التملك أو الحيازة القائمة وقت العمل بهذا القانون أو التى تنشأ وفقا لأحكامه يحظر اعتبارا من تاريخ العمل به حيازة أى أثر .
وعلى التجار والحائزين للآثار من غير التجار أن يخطروا الهيئة بما لديهم من آثار خلال ستة أشهر من تاريخ العمل بهذا القانون وأن يحافظوا عليها حتى تقوم الهيئة بتسجيلها طبقا لأحكام هذا القانون .
ويعتبر حائزا بدون وجه حق ولا يفيد من أحكام الحيازة المقررة بهذا القانون كل من لا يخطر خلال المدة المشار إليها عما فى حيازته من آثار تسجيلها .
