يجوز بقرار من مجلس إدارة الهيئة إنهاء تراخيص العمل الممنوحة للهيئات والبعثات فى الحفائر لمخالفات وقعت منها أثناء العمل . ومع عدم الإخلال بالعقوبات المقررة للاستيلاء على الآثار دون وجه حق أو تهريبها يكون للهيئة حرمان أية بعثة أثرية أو أى متحف آثار خارجى من مزاولة الحفائر الأثرية فى جمهورية مصر العربية لمدة لا تقل عن خمس سنوات إذا ثبت اشتراك أحد أفرادها أو إعانته على ارتكاب أية جريمة من الجرائم المشار إليها بهذا القانون .
