Article 12 of the Stamp Tax Law

The Supreme Constitutional Court struck down this article in whole or part (case 131 of judicial year 21, hearing of 2007-07-01): that part is not law
لا تسرى الضريبة على المعاملات التى تجرى بين الجهات الحكومية أو بينها وبين شخص معفى من الضريبة .
واذا كان التعامل بين جهة حكومية وشخص غير معفى من الضريبه فيتحمل هذا الشخص كامل الضريبة المستحقة على التعامل .
على أنه فى حالة تعدد النسخ أو الصور التى تحتفظ بها الجهة الحكومية لدواعى العمل بها فلا يتحمل المتعامل معها سوى الضريبة المستحقة على نسخة أو صورة واحدة من تلك النسخ أو الصور .
وتعفى من الضريبة أوراق حركة النقود المملوكة للحكومة .
