يجوز أن تلحق بكليات الجامعة أو بعضها مدارس تعليمية لمواد أو دراسات تتصل بأغراض الأزهر، مثل مدرسة تجويد القرآن الكريم وتعليم القراءات، أو أقسام الإرشاد العامة المنشأة لمواجهة حاجات الذين يريدون التزويد من المعارف الدينية والعربية وغيرها من فئات الشعب. ولا تنطبق على هذه المدارس والأقسام شروط الدارسة الجامعية، وتحدد اللائحة التنفيذية نظام العمل بها.
