Is client data safe in FahmQanon?
FahmQanon processes a law firm's data on the firm's behalf under a data processing agreement, and the firm remains the controller under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law 151 of 2020. Inside the firm, a case is seen only by the people allowed to open it, FahmQanon's staff cannot see case files, and the firm's data is never used to train AI.

In more detail
The data is hosted outside Egypt: the servers in the European Union (Finland), documents and backups in private storage in Western Europe. The AI model provider, in the United States, receives only what an answer needs and, under its terms for business use, does not train on it.
Each case has a team and a visibility setting, a named lawyer can be walled off for a conflict of interest, and opens, exports and shares are written to the firm log. The firm can export all of its data or ask for it to be deleted.
