Prices are in US dollars and charged in Egyptian pounds at the exchange rate at the time of payment, and a year costs the price of ten months. There is no free plan and no free trial: our team shows you the assistant live on sample cases before you subscribe. On Office and Firm, extra users cost $20 and $18 a month each. Cancelling stops the renewal, and the plan runs to the end of the paid period. Also asked as: What are FahmQanon's prices? | Is FahmQanon free? | How much is a FahmQanon subscription a month? #### What do the FahmQanon plans include, and what are the limits? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/fahmqanon-plan-limits (2026-10-05) Every FahmQanon plan includes unlimited cases, the law library, the general law chat, court rulings, deadlines and drafting; what is counted each month is assistant answers and document pages read, shared by the firm's members. The monthly answers are 600 on Solo, 2,400 on Small office, 10,000 on Office and 30,000 on Firm. Each user can have 1,500 document pages read a month, with 10 GB of storage. From Small office: sharing cases, the firm's own Word templates and the conflict check. From Office: the firm's experience and similar cases, confidential cases and walls, the firm log, importing past cases and the partners' overview. On Firm: a second country's library, past cases imported by our team, training sessions and priority support. Before the firm reaches its monthly answers, the firm admin is told; answers can be added or the plan moved up. Also asked as: How many answers a month does FahmQanon include? | Is the number of cases limited in FahmQanon? | What is the difference between the FahmQanon plans? #### Is there a free trial of FahmQanon? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/is-there-a-fahmqanon-free-trial (2026-10-05) FahmQanon has no free plan or free trial; instead, our team shows you the assistant live on sample cases under your country's laws before you subscribe. Book a live demo on the website and the team contacts you to set a time. Plans start at $30 a month, with unlimited cases on every plan. Also asked as: Does FahmQanon have a free plan? | How can I try FahmQanon before subscribing? ### How it works #### How does FahmQanon check the citations in its answers? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/how-fahmqanon-checks-citations (2026-10-05) FahmQanon checks every article an answer cites against its text in the law library before the lawyer sees the answer: the article must exist, be in force on the date that matters, belong to a law that is not repealed, and match any words quoted from it. A citation that fails is shown as “not verified” with the reason, and nothing unchecked is ever shown as verified. A citation shows green when the library confirms the text, and amber with the reason when it does not. Court rulings cited in an answer go through the same check. When the library does not cover a question the assistant may search the web, and anything taken from a web page is labelled as not yet verified in the library. Also asked as: Does FahmQanon make up law articles? | What does “not verified” mean in FahmQanon? | Can I trust FahmQanon's citations? #### How is FahmQanon different from a general AI chatbot? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/fahmqanon-vs-general-ai-chatbots (2026-10-05) FahmQanon answers from a law library it keeps and checks, rather than from a general model's memory: every article it cites is matched against its text in the version in force on the date that matters, and anything unconfirmed is marked “not verified”. It also works inside the firm's cases, with the firm's access rules, documents, deadlines and drafting, and the firm's data is never used to train AI. A general chatbot can write an article number or a quotation that does not exist; FahmQanon shows such a citation as “not verified”, with the reason. FahmQanon also knows the case: its parties, its documents and the firm's similar cases, within who may open what. Also asked as: Why use FahmQanon instead of a general chatbot? | Is FahmQanon more accurate than a general chatbot on legal questions? | FahmQanon or a general AI chatbot for lawyers? #### How does FahmQanon calculate legal deadlines? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/how-fahmqanon-calculates-deadlines (2026-10-05) FahmQanon calculates a procedural deadline from a rule that quotes its article word for word, such as the 40-day appeal period in article 227 of the Civil and Commercial Procedure Law, and from a start date the lawyer gives or the case holds. It counts the days under articles 15 and 18 of the same law with every step shown, and a last day that falls on an official holiday moves to the next working day. The assistant never picks a date on its own. A rule no lawyer has reviewed yet carries a mark asking you to check the date before relying on it. Our team enters the official holidays with their source, and the screen says so while a year's holidays are not listed yet. Also asked as: How does FahmQanon work out an appeal period? | Does FahmQanon count official holidays in deadlines? ### The library and court rulings #### Which laws are in the FahmQanon library? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/fahmqanon-law-library-coverage (2026-10-05) The FahmQanon library holds Egypt's key laws article by article, with their earlier versions, their amendments and the source of every text, from official sources first: the Official Gazette and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya. Today 234 laws with 15,661 articles are open to firms, out of a register of 5,334 Egyptian laws, and more are added one by one. Every law is reviewed before firms can read it. Firms can ask for a law they need, and import priorities follow what they ask for. Other countries are added the same way: every law in force, article by article, each reviewed before it goes live. Also asked as: How many laws does FahmQanon have? | Does FahmQanon have every Egyptian law? | Where does FahmQanon get the texts of the laws? #### Which court rulings does FahmQanon include, and where do they come from? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/fahmqanon-court-rulings-sources (2026-10-05) FahmQanon includes rulings of the Supreme Constitutional Court, the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court, linked to the articles of the law they mention. The Supreme Constitutional Court's 7,405 rulings and decisions come from its official portal, and the Court of Cassation's 1,114 and the Supreme Administrative Court's 2,000 rulings come from mksegypt.org under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence, credited wherever a ruling is shown. Hearing years: the Supreme Constitutional Court from 1979 to 2026, the Court of Cassation from 1990 to 2025 and the Supreme Administrative Court from 1990 to 2022. The library also holds 933 State Council fatwas, those of the General Assembly of the Fatwa and Legislation Sections among them, scanned, so they are cited by subject. We do not copy from sources whose terms forbid this use, including the Court of Cassation's own site and its archived copies. Court rulings are included in every plan. Also asked as: Does FahmQanon have Court of Cassation rulings? | Does FahmQanon include Supreme Constitutional Court judgments? | Where does FahmQanon get its court rulings? ### Trust, data protection and limits #### Is client data safe in FahmQanon? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/fahmqanon-security-and-data-protection (2026-10-05) FahmQanon processes a law firm's data on the firm's behalf under a data processing agreement, and the firm remains the controller under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law 151 of 2020. Inside the firm, a case is seen only by the people allowed to open it, FahmQanon's staff cannot see case files, and the firm's data is never used to train AI. The data is hosted outside Egypt: the servers in the European Union (Finland), documents and backups in private storage in Western Europe. The AI model provider, in the United States, receives only what an answer needs and, under its terms for business use, does not train on it. Each case has a team and a visibility setting, a named lawyer can be walled off for a conflict of interest, and opens, exports and shares are written to the firm log. The firm can export all of its data or ask for it to be deleted. Also asked as: How does FahmQanon protect case data? | Does FahmQanon follow Egypt's personal data protection law? | Where is FahmQanon's data stored? #### What does FahmQanon not do? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/what-fahmqanon-does-not-do (2026-10-05) FahmQanon is a working tool for lawyers, and the lawyer stays responsible for everything they use: it gives no legal advice to the public, files nothing with the courts and never picks a deadline or hearing date on its own. An unchecked citation is never shown as verified, and a firm's data is never used to train AI. The library does not yet hold every law in force in Egypt; laws are added one by one. Anything the assistant reads on a web page is labelled as not yet verified in the library. There are no public links and no sharing with another firm: what goes to a client is exported to Word or PDF. There is no free plan. Also asked as: What are FahmQanon's limits? | Does FahmQanon give legal advice? | Does FahmQanon replace a lawyer? #### Does FahmQanon use our firm's data to train AI? Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/answers/does-fahmqanon-train-ai-on-firm-data (2026-10-05) FahmQanon never uses a firm's cases, documents, chats or drafts to train AI models, and it does not sell personal data. The model provider that writes the answers receives only what an answer needs and, under its terms for business use, does not train on it. FahmQanon processes the firm's data on the firm's behalf and on its instructions, under the data processing agreement, and uses it for no purpose of its own. Also asked as: Are our cases used to train FahmQanon's models? | Does FahmQanon sell data? ## Landing pages ### AI legal assistant for law firms in Egypt Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/ai-legal-assistant FahmQanon is an AI legal assistant for law firms and legal departments in Egypt that answers from the Egyptian law library, article by article, and from the firm's own case files. Before a lawyer sees an answer, every article it cites is matched against its text in the library, in the version in force on the date that matters, and anything unconfirmed is marked “not verified” with the reason. The lawyer reviews everything it produces and stays responsible for it. What it does: - Answers from the law library: It searches Egypt's laws article by article, with their versions and amendments, and cites the article it relied on. - Citations checked before they are shown: The article must exist, be in force on the date, belong to a law that is not repealed, and match any words quoted from it. - Inside the case file: It reads the case's documents, scans and phone photos included, and cites them in the case's chats. - Court rulings: When a question turns on a court's position, it searches the rulings of the Supreme Constitutional Court, the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court held in the library. - Works within your permissions: From the chat you can create a case, a deadline or a draft; every change appears as a card you confirm before it runs. - Arabic and English: It writes formal legal Arabic or English, in the language of the question. Limits: - It gives no legal advice to the public: it is a tool for lawyers and their firms. - It never picks a deadline or hearing date on its own: a date comes from a library rule and a start date the lawyer gives, or it asks. - When the library does not cover a question it may search the web, and what it found there is marked as not yet verified in the library. - Egypt's laws come first; other countries are added one by one. Questions: - Does the assistant give legal advice? No. FahmQanon is a tool for lawyers and their firms that supports research and drafting; the lawyer reviews everything they use and stays responsible for it. - What if it cites an article that does not exist? The citation is marked “not verified” with the reason, for example that no article with that number is in the library. Nothing unchecked is ever shown as verified. - Does it read the case documents? Yes. It reads the contracts, pleadings, judgments and letters uploaded to the case, scans and phone photos included, and cites them in the case's chats for the people allowed to open the case. - Is our data used to train AI? No. Your firm's data is never used to train AI. - How many answers do we get a month? It depends on the plan: 600 answers a month on Solo, 2,400 on Small office, 10,000 on Office and 30,000 on Firm, shared by the firm's members. ### Case management software for law firms Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/law-firm-case-management FahmQanon manages a law firm's cases in one place: each case holds its parties, court, documents, team and deadlines, with chats with the legal assistant inside it. On the team plans, lawyers share a case with set roles and the conflict check runs before a new case is saved, and the Office and Firm plans add confidential cases, walls and the firm log. Cases are unlimited on every plan. What it does: - A complete case file: Parties, court, case number, claims, documents and team, with the case's events in order. - Documents that are read: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images go into the case; scans and phone photos are read and their text is searchable. - Deadlines and hearings: Appeal periods and hearings on the case itself, with reminders before each deadline. - Conflict check: A new case's parties are compared with the parties of every firm case, and an exact match goes to the partners to decide (from Small office). - Who sees a case: The case team and partners, the whole firm, or confidential to the team alone, with walls for conflicts of interest (from Office). - The firm's experience: Your closed cases and their summaries, the ones closest to the current case and what decided them (from Office). - Past cases imported: A CSV file or a ZIP with the documents, every row checked before any case is created (from Office). - The firm log: Opens, exports, shares, role changes and walls, in a log the firm admin reads and exports (from Office). Limits: - No public links and no sharing with another firm: what goes to a client is exported to Word or PDF. - It is not a client portal, and it files nothing with the courts. - Cases are unlimited; what is counted each month is assistant answers and document pages read. Questions: - Is the number of cases limited? No, cases are unlimited on every plan. What is counted each month is assistant answers and document pages read, shared by the firm's members. - Can we import our past cases? Yes, from Office: a CSV file or a ZIP with the documents, every row checked before any case is created, with the error shown for each row. On Firm, our team imports your past cases. - Who sees a case inside the firm? By default the case team and the firm's partners. A case can be opened to the whole firm or made confidential to its team, and a walled-off lawyer never meets it in a list, a search or a chat. - Can FahmQanon's team see our cases? No. Our team sees counts, settings, members and billing, never case files or chats, unless the firm admin grants time-limited access to one case, which is logged. - What about scanned documents? Scans and phone photos are read and their text extracted, so it can be searched and cited by the assistant in the case's chats. ### AI drafting of statements of claim and legal memos Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/legal-drafting FahmQanon drafts statements of claim, defence memos, legal memos, notices, contract reviews and letters to clients from the case file, on ready-made templates or on the firm's own Word templates. The citations in a draft go through the same check as the assistant's answers, every draft keeps its versions, and it exports to Word or PDF. The lawyer reviews and edits the draft before using it. What it does: - Six ready-made kinds: Statement of claim, defence memo, notice, contract review, legal memo and letter to the client. - Your firm's templates: Upload the firm's own Word templates and the assistant drafts on them (from Small office). - Filled from the case file: Parties, court, claims and facts come from the case and its documents. - Checked citations: Every article in the draft is matched against its text in the library; anything unconfirmed is marked “not verified” with the reason. - Versions: Every version is kept, so you can go back to an earlier one at any time. - From the case chat: Ask for a memo in the case's chat and it comes attached to the answer as a file. Limits: - A draft is a starting point: the lawyer reviews it, edits it and signs off on it. - It files nothing with the court and sends nothing to the other side. - A draft is built from what is in the case file: anything missing, the lawyer adds to the file or writes in. Questions: - Which documents does it draft? Statements of claim, defence memos, legal memos, notices, contract reviews and letters to clients, on ready-made templates or on your firm's own Word templates. - Can we use our firm's templates? Yes, from Small office: you upload the firm's own Word templates and the assistant drafts on them from the case file. - Are the citations in a draft checked? Yes. Every article a draft cites is matched against its text in the library, in the version in force, and anything unconfirmed is marked “not verified” with the reason. - In what format do we get the draft? Word or PDF. You can also ask for a memo in the case's chat and it comes attached to the answer as a file. ### Search Egyptian laws and legislation article by article Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/egyptian-legislation-search FahmQanon has a library of Egyptian laws in which every law is read article by article, with its earlier versions, its amendments and the source of each text, searchable in Arabic by article number, law number or words. Today 234 laws with 15,661 articles are open to firms. Official sources come first, the Official Gazette and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya, and you can read the text in force on any date you choose. What it does: - Article by article: Each article's text as published, with its numbering and chapters, its source and the date it was fetched. - Versions and amendments: Every version of an article with its date and the law that amended it, and the text in force on any date you choose. - Search that reads references: Type “article 157 of the Civil Code”, “Law 131 of 1948” or the words of the issue, and see how the search was read. - A law's status: In force, amended or repealed, with filters by law, status and year. - Rulings that mention an article: From an article's page, the court rulings in the library that refer to it. - The register of laws: Egypt's laws from their official sources: which are in the library and which are being added. Limits: - The library does not yet hold every law in force in Egypt: laws are added one by one, and you can ask for one you need. - Every law is reviewed before firms can read it; a law still being checked is not shown to them. - When two sources differ, the official one is used. Questions: - Where do the texts of the laws come from? From official sources first: the Official Gazette and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya. Every text shows its source and the date it was fetched, and when two sources differ the official one is used. - How many laws are in the library? Today 234 laws with 15,661 articles are open to firms, out of a register of 5,334 Egyptian laws. More are added one by one. - Can we see the text in force on a given date? Yes. Every article keeps its versions with their dates, so you choose the date that matters to the case and the text in force on it is shown. - Is the library included in every plan? Yes, the law library and the general law chat are included in every FahmQanon plan. - What if a law we need is missing? Ask for it on the Laws page: import priorities follow what firms ask for, and we let you know when it is added. ### Supreme Constitutional Court, Court of Cassation and Supreme Administrative Court rulings Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/egyptian-court-rulings FahmQanon holds rulings of the Supreme Constitutional Court, the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court, linked to the articles of the law they mention and searchable by case or appeal number, by article or by words. The Supreme Constitutional Court's 7,405 rulings and decisions come from its official portal, and the Court of Cassation's 1,114 and the Supreme Administrative Court's 2,000 rulings come from mksegypt.org under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence. The assistant cites them under the same citation check. What it does: - Search by case number: “Case 139 of judicial year 32” or “appeal 1234 of year 85”, an article number, or the words of the issue. - Filters: Court, case type, chamber and decade. - Rulings that mention an article: From any article's page in the library, the rulings that refer to it. - In the assistant's answers: When a question turns on a court's position, the assistant searches that court's rulings before it answers, and cites them. - Sources credited: Every ruling shows its source wherever it appears, including the credit to mksegypt.org and its CC BY 4.0 licence. - Details from the ruling itself: Case number, judicial year and hearing date are read from the ruling's text; nothing the ruling does not state is guessed. Limits: - Not every ruling of these courts: the library holds what the sources above publish, and more rulings are added over time. - We do not copy from sources whose terms forbid this use, including the Court of Cassation's own site and its archived copies. - The State Council fatwas available, those of the General Assembly of the Fatwa and Legislation Sections among them, are scanned, so they are cited by subject. Questions: - Which courts' rulings are in the library? The Supreme Constitutional Court, with the rulings of the Supreme Court that preceded it, the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court, plus State Council fatwas, those of the General Assembly of the Fatwa and Legislation Sections among them. - Where do the Court of Cassation and Supreme Administrative Court rulings come from? From mksegypt.org (Memory and Knowledge for Studies), published under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence; the source is credited with every ruling. - Are the rulings included in every plan? Yes, court rulings are included in every FahmQanon plan. - Does the assistant cite rulings? Yes. When a question turns on a court's position it searches that court's rulings and cites them, and every citation goes through the citation check before it is shown. ### Appeal periods and procedural deadlines under Egyptian law Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/legal-deadlines FahmQanon calculates appeal periods and procedural deadlines in Egyptian cases from a rule for each deadline that quotes its article of the Civil and Commercial Procedure Law word for word, such as the 40-day appeal period in article 227. The days are counted under articles 15 and 18 of the same law with every step shown, and a last day that falls on an official holiday moves to the next working day. The assistant never picks a date on its own. What it does: - Rules in the article's own words: Each deadline has a rule that quotes its article word for word, with the period read from those words. - Counted step by step: The start date, the first day of the period, the last day and any extension for a holiday, each with the article that governs it. - Official holidays: Our team enters them with their source, and the screen says so while a year's holidays are not listed yet. - Reminders: Reminders before a deadline ends, for the people working on the case. - Inside the case: The case's deadlines and hearings in one place; the assistant adds them from the chat with a card you confirm. - The date comes from the lawyer: The assistant never chooses a date: it works one out from a rule and a start date you give or the case holds, or it asks. Limits: - A rule no lawyer has reviewed yet carries a mark asking you to check the date before relying on it. - A deadline no library rule covers is not worked out automatically: the lawyer enters its date. - The lawyer stays responsible for every deadline. Questions: - Which deadlines does it calculate? Deadlines such as the appeal period (40 days, or 15 days in urgent matters), the cassation appeal (60 days), the petition for reconsideration, and grievances against orders on petition and payment orders, each from its article of the Procedure Law. - How is a deadline counted? Under articles 15 and 18 of the Procedure Law: the day the period starts from is not counted, and a last day on an official holiday moves to the next working day, with every step shown next to its article. - Does the assistant choose hearing or deadline dates? No. It works a date out from a library rule and a start date the lawyer gives or the case holds, or takes a date the lawyer states; otherwise it asks. - Do we get reminders before a deadline? Yes, reminders come before a deadline ends. ### Client data protection and Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law 151 of 2020 Source: https://fahmqanon.com/en/client-data-protection FahmQanon processes a law firm's data, its clients' data included, on the firm's behalf and on its instructions, as a processor under a data processing agreement, and the firm remains the controller under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law 151 of 2020. Inside the firm, the firm decides who sees each case, our staff cannot see case files, and the firm's data is never used to train AI. The data is hosted outside Egypt, in the European Union, as the privacy policy explains. What it does: - The firm is the controller: The cases, documents and chats the firm and its members enter are processed for the firm alone, and used for no other purpose. - Who sees a case: The case team and partners, the whole firm, or confidential to the team alone, with walls for conflicts of interest. - Our team does not see your cases: Unless the firm admin grants time-limited access to one case, which ends by itself and is logged. - A log of what happens: Opens, exports, shares, role changes and walls, in a log the firm admin reads and exports. - No training on your data: The firm's data is never used to train AI, and we do not sell personal data. - Export and deletion: Export all of the firm's data, or ask for all of it to be deleted after a 30-day wait. - People's rights: The rights to know, access, correct, erase, withdraw consent and object under Law 151 of 2020, as the privacy policy explains. Limits: - The data is hosted outside Egypt: the servers are in the European Union (Finland), and documents and backups are kept in private storage in Western Europe. - The AI model provider, in the United States, receives only the question and what is needed to answer it; under its terms for business use it does not train on them, and it may keep them for a limited period for security. - The sub-processors and cross-border transfers are set out in the data processing agreement and the privacy policy. Questions: - Who controls our case data? The firm. FahmQanon processes what the firm and its members enter on the firm's behalf and on its instructions, under the data processing agreement, and uses it for no purpose of its own. - Where is the data kept? Outside Egypt: the servers and databases in the European Union (Finland), and documents and backups in private storage in Western Europe. - Is our data used to train AI?
